16. sunshine. grass. and free practice outside. 

Today was the second to last week of yoga in the park out at Maidu. And what better way to follow up a 3mi run than with 75 minutes flowing with other humans in this beautiful weather?!

I am very wary of grass, it makes me real itchy. So I kept myself mostly on my mat. That was okay. But the sun! Oh the sun felt so damn good on my skin. 

Today’s body is very different from yesterday’s. It let me flow with ease. It let me run two whole miles without ever stopping to walk, the last mile I did walk a bit. But the first two I ran and felt totally at ease doing so. I’m excited for this afternoons inversion workshop! My body is very ready for it.
